The book investigates Romania's potential in terms of developing clusters and deepens the research into one of the sectors that has registered the highest value for the Cluster Index potential, namely the agriculture, forestry, and fishing industry. It evaluates the performance of the sector at a global scale by examining matters related to trade relations, sustainability, the role of innovation, digitization, education, and clusters in fostering the industry's competitiveness.
The research develops Romania's Specialization Map, The Cluster Potential Map – at the county level (NUTS 3) designed with the latest available data – 2019 – and analyzes the evolution of the index during the preceding decade (2019-2009).
