JONATHAN HAIDT (n. 19 octombrie 1963, New York) este titularul Catedrei Thomas Cooley de Ethical Leadership la Stern School of Business, New York University. Si?a luat doctoratul in psihologie sociala la University of Pennsylvania in 1992, apoi a predat vreme de 16 ani la University of Virginia. Este autorul a doua carti de succes, The Happiness Hypothesis: Finding Modern Truth in Ancient Wisdom (2006) si The Righteous Mind: Why Good People Are Divided by Politics and Religion (2012; Mintea moralista: De ce ne dezbina politica si religia?, Humanitas, 2016), si coeditorul volumelor Flourishing: Positive Psychology and the Life Well?Lived (2002), All Minus One: John Stuart Mill’s Ideas on Free Speech Illustrated (2018) si The Coddling of the American Mind: How Good Intentions and Bad Ideas Are Setting Up a Generation for Failure (2018).
