Stanley Greenspan

Stanley I. Greenspan, M.D. (1941–2010) este cea mai mare autoritate in domeniul clinic al dezvoltarii nou-nascutului si copilului mic si profesor de clinica psihiatrica si pediatrica la George Washington University Medical School. A scris numeroase articole de specialitate si carti, traduse in peste douasprezece limbi: Infancy and Early Childhood (1992); The Challenging Child with Special Needs (1995); The Growth of the Mind (1997); Building Healthy Minds (1997); Developmentally-Based Psychotherapy si The Irreducible Needs of Children (1997); Engaging Autism: Using the Floortime Approach to Helping Children Relate, Communicate, and Think (2003); The First Idea: How Symbols, Language, and Intelligence Evolved in Early Primates and Humans (2004). Documentarul intitulat Life’s First Feelings, difuzat de PBS NOVA, are in atentie si cercetarile Dr. Greenspan.
